May Birthday Boys
We had three May Birthday Boys all in California while we were in Carlsbad.  Cindi made Turkey and Artichoke Shells for dinner to celebrate Garrett's Birthday.  They were very tasty to say the least, however the best part was Cindi left some shells for Craig and I to enjoy the left overs!  Garrett, of course, requested a birthday pie instead of a birthday cake so Razzleberry it was with candles to boot.

Carter's birthday was May 16 and Cade's is May 22.  We went bowling at Irvine Lanes with Carter and  26 friends.  They were all so fun, Carter's teacher even came to paint faces while they were bowling. The bumper pads and the bowling ball launcher in the lane saved the day.  Some of the kids had never bowled before so it was a new experience for some.  Carter and Cade were veteran bowlers almost breaking 100! Ashley always has the magic touch for parties, she ordered bowling pin drink holders and bowling ball cupcakes.  The kids had  a BALL!

Cade's birthday was after we left, however we did leave skateboards for the boys along with those amazing San Diego Padre Sun glasses for the cool dudes to wear. We love those May Birthday Boys.
Andergram Adventures in California
What could be better than Mother's Day with my girls.  A sunny 72 degree California Mother's Day can only be improved upon by spending it with my girls.  This year Marley and Ashley kept me entertained on Mother's Day while Craig, Garrett and Cindi did the grill work in Ashley's back yard. We were treated to Pork tenderloin, aspargus, mango and sweet onion salad with fresh California strawberry shortcake for dessert.  Cindi and Garrett brought flowers to put the final touches on a great Mother's Day.  I am so blessed to have great kids.  Mike and his family and Kaci and her family both called while we were all togther.  What did we ever do without Face Time for family events?
